What is a "share" of a CSA?

A "share" of a CSA is your investment in the harvest of the CSA. Your share comes as a basket of food. Baskets vary from season to season, but here is a list of what will be included in your share at various times throughout the year:

This list is not conclusive, but it does give you a general idea of what will be available, weather permitting.

Paradox Valley CSA's available shares

A Paradox Valley CSA Family Share is $1,800 for 52 weeks. A Family Share is designed for a family of about 5. The actual amount and variety of food varies from season to season.

A Paradox Valley CSA Lovebird Share is designed for 2-3 people and is $1,300 for 52 weeks.

A Paradox Valley Joel Fuhrman Share is designed to meet the needs of a 70-90% vegetarian diet for one person. Cost is $3,900 per 52-week share.

The One Community Share: For those who are here only seasonally we offer this share as an option to help the local community. You purchase a Family, Lovebird or Joel Fuhrman share, but on the weeks you are not here your basket will be donated to a local women's, senior, or homeless shelter.

Buying a share

Buying a share is easy. You can pay with PayPal by sending an e-mail to paradoxvalleycsa@gmail.com and we willl send a bill to you with a PayPal link. If you prefer, you may pay by check by filling out the Paradox Valley CSA share purchase form and sending the completed form and your check to William DeMille, PO Box 383, Paradox, CO 81429.
